Dave Jorgenson is a co-founder of LNI Media. Before starting LNI, Dave was the creative genius behind Washington Post Universe, The Post’s wildly successful TikTok and YouTube Shorts Channels. He is a pioneer in creating short-form news videos that connect deeply with younger audiences who think he looks like JD Vance. Before joining The Post in 2017, Dave was a creative content producer at The Independent Journal Review, which he is pretty sure doesn’t exist anymore. Dave lives in Kansas City, MIssouri with his wife, daughter and dog Lola (also a senior LNI executive). 

Lauren Saks is a co-founder of LNI Media. Before starting LNI, Lauren was a Deputy Head of Video at The Washington Post and oversaw (among many other things), The Post’s TikTok and YouTube channels where she was able to somewhat manage Dave. Before joining The Post in 2018, Lauren spent a decade at PBS, forming their Digital Studios and developing and producing digital video series and overseeing talent and audience growth strategies. She began her career at The Smithsonian Photography Initiative, a project aimed at digitizing the vast and mesmerizing photo collections across the Institution, giving anyone with an internet connection access. She hopes that project has continued, it was a good one.

Micah Gelman is a co-founder of LNI Media. Before starting LNI, Micah spent ten years as a Senior Editor and Head of Video at The Washington Post. In 2019, Micah begrudgingly allowed Dave to start a TikTok channel so Dave would stop bothering him. Prior to joining The Post in 2015, Micah was Senior Director of Digital Video Strategy at Discovery Communications and an Executive Producer at The Associated Press. He began his career as a local television producer in Syracuse, Columbus, Ohio, New Orleans and Baltimore.

Lola Jorgenson is a co-founder of LNI Media. She is a 5-year-old, Boxer-Labrador (boxador?) who oversees Lola News International operations for LNI. She enjoys long walks and treats, not in that order.
